QCOSTARICA – The City Mall, being built in Alajuela, that will open in about nine months already reports an occupancy rate of 100%.
Leonel Feoli, manager of the project, said so far 47 commercial establishments have been confirmed, but they are still choosing who will fill the missing spaces in the 70.000 square meters (753.000 square feet) building dedicated to this area.
The Honduran developer Corporación Lady Lee says Forever 21, Aliss, Cinemark and Claro are some of the brands that have already secured their participation in the mall.
Feoli said Cinemark will have eight screens and an entertainment complex.
Elfinancierocr.com reports that “… Within the range of restaurants and cafes, consumers can visit Johnny Rockets, Spoon, Juan Valdez, Inka Grill, La Foccacia, Buffalo Wings and Chichi’s. Other firms confirmed by the developer include Importadora Monge, Toys, Ópticas Vision, La Riviera, Ópticas Kielsa and Librería Internacional. ”
“… While in the jewelry segment there will be stores by Touche, Swarovski and BH by Swarovski. Clothing stores will include Mango Surf, Arenas, Fusion, Levi’s, Dockers, Baby Boom, Van Heusen and Le Coq Sportif, among others. ”
At 350 stores, a food court for 1.600 people, 2.600 free indoor parking and a family entertainment park of 3.000 square meters, City Mall will be largest retail complex in the country and the region, built all in one phase.
Corporación Lady Lee says their investment in the project is more than US$150 million dollars
City Mall is one of the 46 commercial projects expected to come online in 2015, according to the real estate firm Inmoinfo.
