(qCOSTARICA) In a report by Centralamericandata.com of a roundup of gasoline prices in Central America up to July 20, Costa Rica leads the pack with the highest prices.
Converted to U.S. gallon and U.S. dollars for comparison, the reports pegs the the price of a litre of super gasoline in Costa Rica at US$4.70 per gallon, regular US$4.08 and diesel US$ 3.49.

El Salvador: Super US$3.79, Regular – US$3.30, Diesel – US$2.72
Guatemala: Super US$3.48, Regular – US$3.28, Diesel – US$2.56
Honduras: Super US$4.30, Regular – US$3.90, Diesel – US$3.21
Nicaragua: Super US$4.49, Regular – US$4.08, Diesel – US$3.15
Panama: Super US$3.61, Regular -US $3.22, Diesel – US$2.53
