(QCOSTARICA) Hope for Paws dog rescue, known for its amazing work helping homeless dogs of Southern California,  extended their kindness and compassion for stray dogs in Costa Rica, accepting the invitation to volunteer by Costa Rica Dog Rescue.

Over the course of their week-long mission with Costa Rica Dog Rescue (located in La Fortuna), the Hope for Paws team helped save a number of dogs who were in desperate need of help.

These pups suffered from everything from malnutrition, skin parasites (mange) and painful physical injuries, but once they were in the care of their kind rescuers, their lives were set on course to change.

After getting a proper meal and a good bath, these dogs are all ready for adoption. Costa Rica Dog Rescue helped coordinate to fly these happy pups to the U.S. to give them a better shot at finding a family – and now they’re all hot on the pursuit for a forever home.
