Diarrhea: Costa Rica is above the alert zone

QNOTICIAS (CRhoy) As of May 25, the Ministry of Health registers 210,704 accumulated cases of diarrhea, which is why the country is exceeding the alert zone.

The rate at this time is 3,968 cases per 100,000 inhabitants and according to Health, there has been a significant increase compared to the previous year. On the same date, in 2023 the country accumulated 135,240 cases, that is, 75,464 less than in 2024.
