This weekend (Sept. 6, 7 & 8) Mickey and Minnie Mouse fans in Costa Rica will be able to meet the famous mice face to face, coming from all the way in Disneyland to Multiplaza Escazú and Curridabat.
The visit celebrate Mickey’s 90th.
Today, Friday (6th), the duo will be in Multiplaza Escazú (in front of Bruno’s and Saturday (7th) and Sunday (8th), Mickey and Minnin will be in Multiplaza Curridabat (in front of Cinemark).
The pair will make their appearances starting at 1:00 pm for a half-hour, then take a 30 minute break and back with the crowds for another, then a break, and so on, until 6:00 pm.
A professional photographer will be on hand to take free photos that will be shared on the social networks.
Disney’s iconic rodent launched his career in “Steamboat Willie,” which premiered in New York on Nov. 18, 1928.
“Since August we started celebrating the 90th anniversary of Mickey Mouse, we have had different activities and this is the closing one. The characters come from Miami and are the originals. We have worked the whole process with Disney,” said Mónica Fallas, event and advertising coordinator for Multiplaza.
