Leonardo Chacón Takes Clasico San Silvestre

COSTA RICA SPORTS – Triathlete Leonardo Chacón took the title of the 14th edition of the Clasico San Silvestre, a 10.4 kilometre race around La Sabana/Pavas/Los Anonos/Rohrmoser held on December 31.

Chacón’s time: 33 minutes, 44 seconds.

With a spectacular duel between Chacón and Híber Mora, the race was a battle of strategies and changes in rythm.

While the Pavas run is mostly downhill, the return to La Sabana is uphill on the Rohrmoser Boulevard, testing the stamina of the runners.
