The U.S. Embassy in San Jose issued a notice on their Facebook page on Wednesday to all who are planning to travel to the United States for the end of the year and required a visa, to start their application process as soon as possible.

The reason: the waiting time to get an appointment is about two months.

“We know how important is the journey you are planning, either because you are going on vacation or because you have a job responsibility; that’s why we want to remind you to request your visa in time to get it before you start packing the bags.”
