RICO’s Q — This week’s outbursts, screams and direct attacks on the Judiciary by President Laura Fernández (the puppet) and former president and now super minister, Rodrigo Chaves (Yepeto), over the handling of Costa Rica’s most wanted criminal, Alejandro Arias Monge, alias “Diablo”, have trended on social media.
During Wednesday’s press conference, Laura’s voice rose as she made sure the Minister of Justice got her message loud and clear. In her usual fiery style, she shouted, “El ‘Diablo’ no se puede escapar de ‘La Reforma’. No se puede matar y no lo pueden matar.” (Diablo cannot escape from ‘La Reforma’. He cannot be killed, and they cannot kill him.)
