In a few short months, Doña Laura Chinchilla, will no longer be president and returns to private life.
On Tuesday, Presidenta Chinchilla told the press that she has not yet made plans after May 8, when her term expires. However, she did indicated that she will NOT be involved in the decisions of the next government.
Doña Laura assures that she will retire from active political life and devote her time to family and professional activities, both national and international, though she has no firm plans in place.
The Presidenta clarified that she will offer her opinion, only and if requested by the next governor.
Doña Laura made the remarks following a cabinet meeting Tuesday.
