Run into it? That is exactly what a man did Thursday, when he recognized the motorcycle belonging to his friend, stolen at gunpoint the day before.

The incident occurred in the area of La Uruca, San Jose. The man, whose identity was not released to the press, decided to plow into the two-wheeler and the two riders with his car, injuring them so that they couldn’t get away, and apprehended by police.

The robbery,”bajonazo” in Spanish, had occurred Wednesday night, at about 8:00pm in the San Sebastian rotonda.

Police report the thieves are in hospital with minor injuries and will be charged with theft.
