The incident occurred in the area of La Uruca, San Jose. The man, whose identity was not released to the press, decided to plow into the two-wheeler and the two riders with his car, injuring them so that they couldn’t get away, and apprehended by police.

The robbery,”bajonazo” in Spanish, had occurred Wednesday night, at about 8:00pm in the San Sebastian rotonda.

Police report the thieves are in hospital with minor injuries and will be charged with theft.
