The Ruta 32 (San Jose – Limon) will be closed between 10am and 2pm today (Thursday) and tomorrow (Friday), between San Isidro de Heredia and Rio Frio de Sarapiqui.
The Conavi says it needs a complete closure to make improvements to the road, in particular painting of the lines and signage, that drivers have so much complained about recently.
According to the Conavi information, the closure will allow work crews to continue paving in some areas of the 30 kilometre stretch o road.
If you need to travel to communities such as Guapiles, Siquirres and Limon during the morning and early afternoon, the alternate routes include by way of Varablanca (Heredia) or Turrialba (Cartago).
