COSTA RICA NEWS – The price of fuel has been an issue, as prices keep rising, to the point Costa Rica now has the highest gasoline prices in the region.
Thus, the drop in prices recently approved by the Autoridad Reguladora de los Servicios Públicos (ARESEP), will be be some releif.
In the coming days, the price of a litre of gasoline will drop ¢36 colones, from ¢810 to ¢774; regular ¢30 colones, from ¢782 to ¢752; and diesel ¢1 colon, from the current ¢667.
The new prices are waiting to be published in the official government newsletter, La Gaceta, to take effect.
The publication is expected before the end of the week.

My goodness! This is what Luis Guillmero promised in his campaign. He did lower the cost of gasoline and against all odds!
