The Red Sismológica Nacional (RSN) reported a 5.2 magnitude quake this Wednesday morning, at 5:23 am, the epicenter located 21 km south of Quepos, on the Central Pacific coast.
The Observatorio Vulcanológico y Sismológico de Costa Rica (Ovsicori) instruments registered the quake a 4.8 magnitude.

The tremor was strong to be felt in most of the Greater Metropolitan Area (GAM).
This was the second quake in less than 12 hours, the first, a 5.5 magnitude at 10:58 pm with the epicenter 6.9 km northeast of Cahuita, Talamanca, in the province of Limon.
