TODAY VENEZUELA (El Universal) Venezuelan President, Nicolás Maduro, highlighted on Thursday the progress achieved in the Venezuela-China relation as he ended his visit to China.

He underscored that the Asian nation has outlined a development plan by 2050, which makes it one of the greatest world powers.

“Today, China is the economic and political super power of the 21st century, but it is not an empire; it did not seek to dominate, to plunder or to colonize the peoples. It managed to build its political stability, its own social model and its own path to economic development. ”

Both nations have signed several cooperation agreements for over USD 20 billion, which will be allocated to priority sectors for national development, which would ensure the work of late President Hugo Chávez, who developed a strategic relation with China since 1999.
