QCOSTARICA | What is the Zika virus? How is it transmitted? What are the symptoms? How can we guard against it?
The answers to these questions and many more can be found on the Costa Rican Social Security Fund (CCSS) website.
This entity created a subsite within their web portal to dispel doubts about the tropical disease, which has already registered two cases in the country.
The website is www.ccss.sa.cr. There you will find a guide to the most frequent questions about the virus, providing basic information for the general public and a section with recommendations for health personnel. In addition, reports will be posted on the latest news on the subject.
For now the website is only in Spanish. No word is other languages will be added, like English and Chinese.
