An earthquake registering 4.7 on the Richter scale shook Costa Rica last night at 9:41pm.
The quake’s epicentre was locted 17 kilometres souttheast of Laurel, Corredores de Puntarenas, at a deapth of 25 km.
According to the RSN – national seismic network – the tremor was felt strongest in Paso Canoas (border with Panama), while reports of minor sensitivity came from Alajuela, Heredia and La Sabana in San José.
