TECH NEWS — Touted as one of Microsoft’s most ‘affordable’ smartphones, The Lumia 530, is a featured packed premium smartphone with Windows.
While Apple and Samsung continue to battle it out in the high-end smartphone arena, Microsoft has seen its greatest smartphone success in the entry-level market.
The Microsoft Lumia 530 features a 4-inch 854 x 480 FWVGA display with a pixel density of 246 pixels per inch (ppi). The smartphone is powered by a 1.2 GHz quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 200 processor, Adreno 302 GPU (graphics processing unit), and 512 MB of RAM. It includes 4 GB of internal storage and microSD expansion slot that supports up to 128 GB microSD cards.
The Lumia 530 is packing a 5-megapixel rear camera with the ability to capture 720p video. Its wireless connectivity options include a 4G LTE radio, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.0, and GPS.
