COSTA RICA EXTRA – Maikol Yordan, aka. as Mario Chacón and his group, La Media Docena, paid a visit to Oscar Arias at his home in Rohrmoser.
Yordan, who is making a hit on the big screen, is described as a “Campesino” with little knowledgeable of city life, who goes there in search of honest work. Each time he applies for a job, his “simple” ways are clear and ill prepared he is for a job in the city.
The 1/2 Docena (half dozen) is a comedy group really made up of four funny guys, Mario Chacón, Daniel Moreno, Érik Hernández y Édgar Murillo. Starting in 1994, the group has had their own television show, performing on radio and live around the country.
In 2014 the group released its first feature Maikol Yordan de Viaje Perdido, a full length movie that has been in the Costa Rica cinemas since last month.
