QCOSTARICA – Residents of Suerre en Jimenez de Pococí (Limon) tired of the lack of police action reacted violently against two suspected of assaulting a home Tuesday night.

The assailants had the bad luck of getting into a vehicle accident while attempting escape and hid in the mountains.

On Wednesday, neighbours were alert for them to exit, battering the man and woman, to the point requiring medical attention at the local clinic..

The assault of the home had occurred minutes before 10 pm. The criminals entered the property with the scam of having car problems

Inside the car used by the criminals police found a firearm, documents and various objects taken from the home.

Police asked the public not to take the law into their own hands.

The judicial authorities are analyzing the case and evidence.
