Accident Causes Tremendous Congestion on The 27, Escazu – San Jose Direction

COSTA RICA NEWS – 6:37PM- A collision at kilometer 2 of Route 27 in EscazúSan Jose  direction generated a tremendous traffic jam.

The photograph shows the congestion past the tolls at Escazú.

The social network Twitter was abuzz with comments from drivers stuck in traffic about the deplorable roads infrastructure.

The accident occurred around 5:30pm. A half hour later, GlobalVía the road concessionaire, reported on Twitter the accident had been cleared and traffic as starting to return to normal.
