The Instituto Costarricense de Turismo (ICT) – Costa Rican Tourism Board – announced that for the first time an Airbus A350 will come to our country.
It is one of the most modern commercial aircraft in the world, able to carry from 315 to 369 passengers in typical seating variants.
The Spanish airline, Iberia, will be the first to fly to Costa Rica with this modern aircraft, on its San José-Madrid route, from December 18, 2019, to March 28, 2020.
In 2018, 480,000 European tourists visited Costa Rica according to ICT data.
The A350 is a latest-generation aircraft equipped with state-of-the-art technology and designed to save fuel, therefore reducing the environmental impact. It also offers multiple benefits for passengers, such as wider aisles, larger overhead bins, an air-conditioning system that enhances on-board comfort by providing fresher air, panoramic windows, and much more.
