TODAY COSTA RICA – Despite the cancellation of the “romeria” this year, the second year due to the pandemic, some still made their way to Cartago, to Basílica de Los Angeles.

The photos show the Atmosphere prior to mass this Monday morning, August 2, a tradition in celebration of the Virgen de Los Ángeles (named by Pope John Paul II, Patroness of Costa Rica).
