Bailey-sobre-circunvalacion-5-setiembre

It should be smooth driving by tomorrow through the Circunvalación promises the Minsitry of Transport, as it scurries to complete the installation the last two of four Bailey bridges between Pavas and Hatillo.

Mauricio Sojo, in charge of the repairs, told CRHoy.com that the installation work would be completed by tonight and by the morning the final touches – line painting and markings, etc.

While the MOPT has been busy working on the repairs, they still have not given details on the permanent solution to the problem.

CONAVI director Christian Vargas said that the details could be available next week and the work should be completed by December.

Once all four Bailey bridges are open, there will be no more closures on the road that have tested the patience of thousands of drivers during almost two weeks.
