First Flight Out of San José Friday Kicks Up Dust!

Iberia flight bound for Madrid, Spain was the first to depart after the re-opening of the San Jose airport Friday.

QCOSTARICA – The first airplane to leave the San José airport, the Iberia flight 6314 headed for Madrid, Spain, kicked up a lot of dust from the accumulated ash of  the fallout of the Turrialba volcano eruptions.

The Iberia Airbus  A340-600 was ground Thursday afternoon as the airport was closed after its arrival minutes before 4:00pm.
