QCOSTARICA – Being behind bars did not slow down a 56-year-old man from making obscene phone calls to seduce young girls. The man is currently service a sentence for similar offences.
Authorities says the man made from prison 17 phone calls to underage women for sexual purposes, his modus operandi.
“Once the girls engaged in conversation with the predator, he leads them to discuss things of a sexual nature such as the colour of her clothing, is she wearing a short skirt or long, the colour of her underwear, if she uses a bra, the size of breasts and other topics or a sexual nature,’ noted a Organismo de Investigación Judicial (OIJ) report.
Posing as the father of a school friend, to invite their daughter to a party, he would convince parents to let him to talk with the minor.
Some parents became suspicious and called police.
After tracing phone calls, the OIJ found the they originated from a prison.
A search of the medium security block discovered evidence to identify the caller, who is serving time for sexual related offences.
The OIJ have requested the predator be moved to a maximum security block.
