The Grupo CMA announced that it became an Apple authorized distributor of corporate services in Costa Rica, obtaining approval from the US firm after meeting the requirements.

The Costa Rican firm stressed that the services are aimed at helping companies and institutions to take advantage of Apple products.

At the retail level there are other companies such as iCon, iShop and Grupo Monge are authorized to sell Apple products.

“Last Monday, the Apple engineer came to audit our workshop for corporate services and we met that requirement,” said Julio Castilla, president of Grupo CMA.

The opportunity to become Apple’s corporate distributor occurred in September 2018 at an event held in Orlando, Florida, by Ingram Micro, a distributor of US technology products in Costa Rica.
