COSTA RICA NEWS (7:35pm) — The ruta 32, the San José – Limón, between kilometres 19 and 55, through the Braulio Carrillo, is a mess tonight.
The late afternoon rains have caused multiple landslides.
According to reports by the Policia de Tránsito (traffic police) and posts on the social media, a number of vehicles are trapped in between the landslides.
The emergency manager of the Ministry of Public Works and Transport (MOPT), David Melendez, said that equipment is on route to clear the debris and free the trapped vehicles.
