QCOSTARICA – The motive is not yet clear, as investigators of the Organismo de Investigación Judicial (OIJ) continue to delve into the shooting in the early hours of Wednesday morning, in San Antonio de Escazú.
The victim is 65 year old Antonio Vega, believed to be an “informal” (gypsy) cab of the area, was shot in the head at point blank.
Witnesses told police that they heard a gunshot and then saw a vehicle speed off.
