“We decided to invest in Costa Rica due to the situation that Nicaragua has been experiencing. Thus, we saw the crisis as an excellent opportunity to extend beyond our borders ” said Karen Fornos, one of the partners.

Recently other Nicaraguans have been investing in Costa Rica.

For example, the El Chele business group began its foray into Costa Rica earlier this year by opening the first of the five service points it wants under the  E.C. Rent a Car brand.

Its first is located near the Juan Santamaría International Airport (SJO), on road to Rio Segundo de Alajuela, and has a vehicle fleet of 120 units.
