Puriscal houses a treasure for its inhabitants: the ancient Church. Designed by Theodoric Quirós, its construction started in 1936, was closed in 1990 and declared Architectural Heritage in 2012. The church foundation is on shaky ground, making it difficult to restore and make various views on its future.
