QCOSTARICA — The tolls on the Ruta 27 between San Jose and Caldera are gonna be cheaper starting April 1st. This is all because of changes in the dollar exchange rate.

The Ezcazu tolls on eastbound lanes

This reduction will be applicable to all vehicles at toll stations in Escazú, San Rafael, Guácima, Atenas, and Pozón, as well as the on/exit ramps at Cuidad Colon, Coyol, and Atenas.

Light vehicles will see a decrease from ¢10 to ¢90 colones, while heavy vehicles will see a decrease from ¢410 to ¢550.

The concession contract stipulates a quarterly adjustment based on changes in the dollar exchange rate.
