QCOSTARICA TECH – Not happy with the Galaxy S5, Galaxy Note 4, Galaxy Alpha and others, Samsung has announced more smartphones in the form of the Galaxy A3 and Galaxy A5.

Samsung’s new Galaxy A range offer high fashion design and advanced functions, according to the firm. They supposedly allow social networking fans to capture meaningful moments and share their daily lives. Going by the marketing material, they are designed for taking selfies (below).

The announcement is in line with a growing trend of selfie smartphones such as the HTC Desire Eye and Nokia Lumia 735.

The Galaxy A5 and A3 offer a beautifully crafted full metal unibody, slim design, superior hardware and the best possible social media experience,” said JK Shin, CEO of Samsung Electronics. “These devices make our advanced Galaxy experience even more accessible to young and trend conscious consumers.”

The price of the Galaxy A3 and A5 smartphones in Costa Rica are ¢255.000 and ¢335.000 colones respectively, at the Samsung stores in Multiplaza Escazú, Paseo de la Flores in Heredia and Lincoln Plaza in Moravia.
