More than 10.000 people witnessed the thirteenth edition of the illumination of the Museo de los Niños, accompanied by a spectacular fireworks display, music and lots of smiles in an activity that announces the holiday season.

The show started about an hour late than the announced 6:30pm, but the crowd didn’t seem to mind the dealy.

The excitement of this magic night was on the faces of children and adults when the thousands of lights lit up the facade of the building on Avenida 9 and Calle 4 in the heart of San José,  that was followed up with fireworks lighting up the sky above the building.

The only thig that marred the evening was the tremendous bottlenecs caused by heavy traffic around the Children’s Museum. The congestion occurred despite the call by traffic authorities that drivers take alternate toures, avoiding the areas surrounding the Museum.
