Vamos Car Rental Shares View to Serve Manuel Antonio

1c07f_3a64QCOSTARICA – (Newswire.net) Manuel Antonio, PuntarenasVamos Rent-A-Car has partnered with the Costa Verde Hotel in Manuel Antonio, Costa Rica to offer complimentary services for tourists to the area.

Manuel Antonio National Park is a popular destination due to its protected beaches and hiking trails.  With its 150,000+ annual visitors, another rental car choice is welcomed.  This partnership is a logical step to provide increased customer service on both fronts.

With quadruple the number of hotels and closer proximity to the Quepos airport, “We responded to our customers’ demands by relocating from the Dominical area,” said Vamos general manager George Schwarzenbach.

Their new branch office shares a stunning clifftop view of the ocean and is situated in one of the country’s prime locations – near the Costa Verde Hotel and beside the El Avion Restaurant.

El Avion, named after the Fairchild C-123 cargo plane made famous from the Iran-Contra Affair, is a landmark on the road from Quepos to the national park and also serves as a unusual restaurant and bar.  With spectacular sunset views, this is a dream sundowner location with a cocktail menu to please all tastes.  The Costa Verde resort has gradually expanded over its 25 years of operation and offers a range of accommodations and services, such as destination weddings, to appeal to all visitors to this well-known beach resort.

Ballena National Park, named for the distinctive whale-tail shaped sand bank that projects from the beach and the fact that whales can be seen seasonally from the shores, is just over an hour’s drive from Manuel Antonio and well worth the trip.  Along the coastal road, Route 34, visitors also enjoy pausing at the surf beaches of Dominical and Uvita, which are just under an hour’s drive.
