COSTA RICA NEWS – Starting at 10pm Saturday night and until 6am Sunday, 35.000 people will be able to participate in a vigil to be held at the National Stadium, for the canonization of John Paul II and John XXIII.
The activity is organized by the Catholic Church in Costa Rica and entrance to the stadium is FREE.
Stadium officials are clear that the tickets are available only through the Catholic Church parishes and NOT at the stadium.
According to the Obras del Espíritu Santo, during the eight hours there will be songs, music and prayer. Three video screens (the stadium’s main screen and two additional temporary screens) will show the live broadcast from Rome.
