QCOSTARICA – On his way back to San José from Jacó, Bryan Quincy, a Canadian with many years of visiting Costa Rica, asked his taxi driver friend to stop to take a leak, but instead he decided to plunge to his death from the Rio Grande bridge on the Ruta 27 (San Jose – Puntarenas).

The incident occurred shortly before 2:00am Wednesday morning, on the bridge east of the Atenas toll booths.

Sources close to the Q said Bryan had terminal kidney cancer and had been in Jaco enjoying the hot climate of the beach.
