Costa Rica To Export More Electrical Energy to Central America

With the active participation of the General Regulator, Roberto Jiménez, the incorporation of a substation to speed up the electricity market between Costa Rica and northern Central America was achieved today.

This will allow Costa Rica to sell more energy to the countries of northern Central America; to optimize the use of national energy resources. Likewise, in the summers the country will be able to supply energy, at a lower cost, without resorting to burning fossil fuels to produce electricity, BN Americas reports.
