Q COSTA RICA – For the second consecutive year, Ron Centenario is nominated in the category “Best Rum Brand Ambassador” by the prestigious The Ultimate Awards contest; obtaining this year, first place in the category.

The Ultimate Awards is a contest that recognizes the best in the rum industry, where people choose the winner of each nominated category, through their votes on the platform.

In 2022, the first edition of The Ultimate Awards was held, where Daniel Mora, Global Brand Manager of Ron Centenario was nominated in the same category of “Best Rum Brand Ambassador” obtaining position #2.

For this second edition of The Ultimate Best Rum Ambassador, the team announced the nomination of 21 participants, including Ron Centenario’s Brand Ambassador, Miguel Sequeira.

“On behalf of Ron Centenario, I am very grateful for the support that Costa Ricans have given me through their votes. This motivates us to continue taking that little piece of Costa Rica in each bottle of Ron Centenario to the whole world”, mentioned Miguel Sequeira, Brand Ambassador of Ron Centenario.

The selection process was carried out in a meticulous way, selecting the Rum Ambassadors that appear for their trajectory and achievements with the brands they represent. The top 3 places for the category were:

  • Miguel Sequeira – Brand Ambassador of Ron Centenario with 815 votes.
  • Sergio Reyes – Representative of Don Q Rum with 406 votes.
  • Din Hassan – Representative of The Island Rum Company with 375 votes.

“We are extremely proud to raise the name of Ron Centenario; the rum of Costa Rican. Our brand has been constantly innovating and growing in the country and in all the international markets to which we export, and with this award we reaffirm the quality in everything we do and once again show our essence as Costa Ricans,” said Dianne Medrano, CEO Centenario Internacional.

Miguel Sequeira, who has developed different mixology activities and events with clients of the brand and who in January 2023 became the Ambassador of Ron Centenario worldwide, will be awarded at the New York Rum Festival on June 10 and will receive the certificate to first place in the competition and an exclusive interview on The Rumlab.com.

Ron Centenario is a product with a Costa Rican seal, which has been growing in local and international markets, thanks to being the only rum aged by nature, where its flavor and quality notes conquer all who try it.
