The photos are from the Ministerio de Obras Publicas y Transportes (MOPT) Facebook page.

The location is Casamata, in the area of Cerro de la Muerte, on the ruta 2, the Interamericana Sur, between Cartago and Perez Zeledon. But it could be any one of the many roads outside the Greater Metropolitan Area (GAM) that require attention.
