Some 15.000 people are expected to attend the Feria del Café de Frailes, January 17, 18 and 19, which is celebrating its 10th annual edition.

06-feria-cafeThe fair will kick off with the Competencia del Cafetal on Friday. On Saturday the Campeonato de Arte Latte will have experts showing off elaborate designs on the surface of a frothy cup of coffee.

Saturday will also have the Tico Jazz Band and the Orquestra del Café.

Besides the coffee and the concerts, attendees can also enjoy a variety of local dishes, taste and buy different brands of coffee and learn about some 10 different coffee processes.

There are also games and entertainment for children.

Price of admission is ¢1.000 colones for adults, children at half price.
