QCOSTARICA – The ferry service between Puntarenas and Playa Naranjo has been suspended indefinetly Sunday due to strong winds and waves causing damage to the structure of berthing of ships.

The announcement was made by Coonatamar, responsible for providing the service, on their Facebook page.

According to the national weather service, the  Instituto Meteorológico Nacional – IMN, a high pressure system located in the southern United States has affected the entire Central America and the Caribbean.
