(COSTA RICA EXTRA) Former Miss Costa Rica 2014, Karina Ramos, will be the new host of the program 7 Estrellas on local channel 7.

The 22 year old will join the team of Walter Campos and Marilyn Gamboa from next week (Thursday April 21).

Ramos has been the host of De Boca en Boca (which airs Mondays through Fridays at 1:30 pm), this is an opportunity she has dreamed from a young age, when started in the world of television in children’s programs such as Recreo Grande. Ramos will leave De Boca en Boca on Friday April 15.

“I’m excited about the opportunity they gave me. Since I was a little girl I watched 7 Estrellas and always wanted to be part of the program.” she confessed.

According to Ramos, the advantage of this new stage in her career is to be able to devote more to her modeling academy called Imagination, because the program that airs once a week.

Over the scandal of intimate photos circulated in the social networks, in particular through Whatsapp, she said that it was a serious mistake she made, a personal error, not professional, and expects to get past it.

“Now I am living a beautiful time of my career, if I’m going to be judged that it be for my work as a professional, not as a person. I will keep my commitment to Teletica and although I’ve been wrong, everyone deserves another chance,”said the former beauty queen.

In addition to being the new presenter of 7 Estrellas, Ramos will be part of the models in the new edition of the Mercedes Benz Fashion Week San Jose, which will be held from April 27 to 30 at the Hotel Real Intercontinental in Escazu.
