How Does Costa Rica Gets Its Laid-Back Attitude? (Infographic)

QCOSTARICA – As the weather in the North gets nasty, getting away to a tropical climate like Costa Rica sounds like a dream or “pura vida” was we call it.

With beaches, diverse wilderness and a great attitude, it’s no wonder many visit the country. In 2015, a record 2,665,000 tourists visited Costa Rica. This infographic from Razionale Fantasia goes into Costa Rica’s record as well as what makes it “the happiest country in the world.”

Editor’s note: The above infograph, not produced by the Q, contains several errors. 1. The last eruption of the Arenal volcano occurred in 2010 and 2. the Turrialba in 2015. 3. the correct  name is Miravalles.
