Costa Rica’s La Selección (national team) is “prepared” for tomorrow’s game against Nicaragua, in the first game of Copa Centramericana (Cental American), that will be played at RFK Stadium, in Washington, at 3:30pm Wednesday.

Oscar Duarte, the Nicarguan national and star player in La Sele’s World Cup 2014 performance, posted on his Twitter account, “here in Washington prepared for tomorrow.” Duarte, born in Catarina, Masaya, and growing up in Costa Rica.

According to Nicaragua’s coach, Enrique Llena, a Spanish national, a tie against Costa Rica will be a win.

Costa Rica goes into tomorrow’s game as defending champion. After Nicaragua, the Ticos will plat Panama on Sunday (September 7).

The top two teams in Group A advance to the semifinals against the two of the Group B, which is made up of El Salvador, Honduras, Guatemala and Belize.

The American Cup chamption will get a direct pass to the 2016 Copa America and the top four will qualify to compete in the CONCACAF Golf Cup.
