“Nicaragua reaffirms its position of not lend itself to legitimize illegal policies (immigration)” and “requires the government of Costa Rica to take appropriate measures to withdraw from our border areas all Cubans,” said a statement Dennis Moncada.

Moncada reiterated the accusation by his government that Costa Rica violated Nicaragua’s sovereignty by forcing the entry of Cubans to their country.
