QCOSTARICA – The residents La Lucha, in Desamparados, on the south side of San Jose, are scared because this is not the first time their community has been victim of satanic rituals.

The first was two years ago, when a small group desecrated their church, breaking windows and burning several religious elements.

The latest was this weekend, discovered by gravedigger Eladio Duran, arriving at work Monday, finding four tombs filled with blood, three graves dug up and the chapel’s glass windows broken, all near the grave of former president Maria Jose Figueres Ferrer, known affectionately as “Don Pepe”.

According to locals, this is clearly the work of satanic worshippers.

Some of the residents witnessing the desecration told police they followed a trail of blood for more than a kilometre until the came upon the home of a man named Castillo, who had several cuts and covered in blood.

The man was taken by police to the local clinic for treatment.

Police are being quiet in the case.
