732 foreigners deported from Panama

deportations-620x264Q24N – During the first 11 months of 2015, immigration officials have deported 732 people, nearly 50% percent of them Colombians

The number is a slight increase from the same period of 2014, when 648 people were deported.

Just under half of the people deported were Colombian citizens, with 317 citizens of that country being deported, followed by Nicaragua (167), the Dominican Republic (100), Mexico (19), El Salvador (17), Jamaica (17) and Peru (11.) No other country had more than 10.

A person who has been deported cannot enter Panama for at least five years.
