Contactless transactions is highly beneficial to merchants (and customers) during peak periods and can increase transaction volume for merchants and issuers.

“With this new technology that allows contactless transactions, data confidentiality of customer accounts is assured and the risk of fraud is reduced very significantly,” said Gerardo Ulloa, Deputy General Manager of Corporate Banking at the BCNCR.
