Costa Rica Aid For The Affected By Dorian Arrived In The Bahamas

The 900 Kg of donations that Costa Rica collected for the affected by Hurricane Dorian arrived in Bahamas, said Casa Presidencial in a statement.

In an effort by the Comisión Nacional de Emergencias (National Emergency Commissio) and the Comité Asesor Técnico de Asistencia Internacional (Technical Advisory Committee for International Assistance), they donantions were received by Bahamas Prime Minister Hubert Minnis.

The aid is composed of water purification tablets and personal hygiene items, mainly.

Costa Rica president Carlos Alvarado, added that, “We hope it is great help in this difficult time. Natural phenomena transcend borders and that is why we must support each other. A supportive hug to the Bahamian people.”
